BioSEA Foliar - A foliar fertliser
- BioSEA Foliar is manufactured from oceanic deep water species of fish. To this high quality hydrolysed fish protein 10% seaweed is blended along with a high grade humic/fulvic acid to give a balanced blend of proteins, seaweed and carbon.
- Seaweed - We use a high quality seaweed to incorporate the growth promotants to enhance cell division and to provide micronutrients.
- Humic/fulvic Acid - We incorporate a high quality carbon source to provide an instant carbon food source for fungi, a carrier for nutrients into the plant leaf and root and a medium for stabilising the micronutrients in the soil making them available to the plant for longer
- BioSEA Foliar is ideal for foliar spraying. Ensuring the plant has accessible nutrients over the high production periods.
- BioSEA Foliar is used in intensive horticulture as a foliar feed and to assist in the uptake of plant nutrients. It has longstanding use in kiwifruit, apples, grapes and berry fruits.
- The nitrogen present is in the form of amino acids, which plants can take and use directly.When chemical ammonium or urea nitrogen fertilizers are used the plant must first convert them to amino acids. BioSEA has nitrogen in a form the plant can easily take up, so they don.t have to expend energy to convert it. That energy can go directly into the growth process.
- The soluble fish protein is produced to a protein level of 28-30% in a sophisticated evaporation process in which the product is pasteurised and stabilized at a pH of 4.5 for prolonged shelf life. It also has been deodorized and the fine tolerance in the production process ensures that 95% of particles are less than 10 microns. This ensures easy dispersion and spraying and that it can be used through fine nozzle sizes for boom sprayers.
- BioSEA contains no ruminant proteins and has naturally balanced levels of calcium, sodium, magnesium, selenium, copper, zinc and other minor trace elements.
